Comando G is a Spanish wine producer in the Sierra de Gredos region of Castilla y Leon, around 100 kilometers (60 miles) to the west of Madrid. Its name alludes to the specialism in wines from the Garnacha (Grenache) grape variety from Gredos.
Around 10 hectares (25 acres) of vines are farmed between 900 and 1200 meters of altitude (2950 to 3940ft). The average age ranges between 50 and 80 years. Organic and biodynamic practices are used.
